OUR MISSION

The PARClife Foundation is committed to bridging the widening gap in support for the education, employment, and independent living our neurodiverse community members will need throughout their lives.

OUR PROGRAMS

Age 26 & Beyond

26 & Beyond

Partnering to create communities of lifelong neurodevelopment. Addresses the critical gap in support for neurodiverse adults 26+ who age out of school services. Provides therapy, counseling, job training, social skills development, and least restrictive housing support.

Community Engagement

Service Learning

Community involvement opportunities where participants tend Rain Gardens at Plymouth Arts and Recreation Complex, provide creative play at neighborhood functions, and engage in community-based service projects. Builds inclusive culture and develops real social skills.

Economic Empowerment

Micro-Businesses

Community-designed micro-businesses that enhance learners real-world skills and benefit the surrounding community. Portions of proceeds paid in salary to learners. Builds self-determination, career skills, technical skills, and inclusive social skills.

Social & Leisure

D&D Club

A community of Adventurers gathering to tell a collective story, guide heroes through dangerous quests to search for treasure, battle deadly foes, and even carry out daring rescues! Social skills through the magic of collaborative storytelling.

Cost: $20 per meetingSchedule: Fridays, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Summer Programming)
Civic Partnership

VIP Program

Vulnerable or Impaired Person enrollment. Allows parents/guardians to voluntarily submit fingerprints and photographs to Michigan state repository to assist law enforcement identification if the person becomes lost or needs help.

Our Story

25 years of caring, education, research, experience, passion and resiliency led to PARClife's ongoing mission of becoming a national model of neuro-affirming, community and research-based therapeutic services for people with disabilities of all ages. Learning and growth do not stop at age 26, and neither should support. Our foundation was built on the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to their community while receiving the scaffolding they need to thrive.
